Recruitment of the post of Senior Residents/Senior Demonstrators on ad-hoc basis for the tenure period as per Govt of India’s Residency Scheme for the July, 2012 at the AIIMS, New Delhi

The on-line applications are invited from Indian Citizens, as per Govt of India’s Residency Scheme, for the following posts of Senior Residents/Demonstrators (including backlog vacancies) on adhoc basis for the tenure period, which will become available till 31st December, 2012, in the prescribed format and on the other terms and conditions as available on the website www.aiims.ac.in, www.aiims.edu, www.aiimsexams.org

Last date for applying to the post of Senior Residents/Demonstration online will be 30th May, 2012, by 1700 hours

Upper age limit (as on 30th June, 2012): Senior Resident and Senior Demonstrators 33 years, Relaxable for SC/ST candidate upto a maximum period of five years, in the case of OBC candidates upto a maximum period of three years

In the case of Orthopaedic Physical Handicapped (OPH) candidates upto maximum period of 5 years for General category, 8 years for OBC category and 10 years for SC/ST category candidates

35 years for those who are appointed as Senior Residents after completing DM/M.Ch courses

The age limit is Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates

Application Fee: General/OBC category Rs 1000/- (SC/ST categories Rs 800/-) plus Transaction charges as applicable

Payment through computer generated Challan form in any branch of State Bank of India

Applicant may note that there is no need to send registration slip, bank challan or any other document by post at AIIMS

Those applying on 30th May, 2012, on the last date of closing and are unable to deposit the fee on the same day must deposit fee in the designated bank latest by following working day (31st May, 2012 in this case) failing which their candidature will not be considered and no query/correspondence in this regard will be entertained

Important Dates

Online registration of application on www.aiimsexams.org: 20th May, 2012 to 30th May, 2012

Last date for applying online and closing of registration: 30th May, 2012, 1700 Hours

The admit cards of eligible candidates will be uploaded on website which can be downloaded from www.aiimsexams.org (no admit card will be sent by post): 12th June, 2012

Written examination (exact time and venue of examination will be intimated through the admit card): 15th June, 2012 in Delhi only

Result of written examination will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Examination Section at AIIMS as well as AIIMS website www.aiims.ac.in, www.aiims.edu, www.aiimsexams.org on: 20th June, 2012

Dates of interviews: 25th-30th June, 2012

Date of counseling: 03rd July, 2012
