IIFT announces admission to EPGDIB batch 6 (2010-11)
A programme for working executives in 91 cities across India
The EPGDIB Programme is specially designed to cater to those executives for whom leaving the job and the city is not a feasible option
The Programme will be offered in three trimesters spread over 12 months. The beginning of the Programme will comprise one week of concentrated classroom study at IIFT Delhi campus, followed by classes in the HughesNet Global Education Interactive onsite learning classrooms, located in multiple cities across India
Program objectives: The course aims to; provide an understanding of management concepts and their application; develop international mindset for strategic decision making; provide an understanding into the operational aspects of international business
Eligibility: Graduation or equivalent degree from any recognized university or institution with minimum five years of work experience
Selection: Candidates will be short-listed on the basis of qualifications, experience etc. Shortlisted candidates may be called for online/ telephonic interviews
Seats are reserved for SC/ST/PH/OBC candidates as per govt of India rules for those who fulfill the minimum eligibility conditions
Programme highlights: Highly structured programme with pre-defined course structure, session plans, evaluations and assignment schedules
On-campus sessions at the beginning of every trimester; special focus on design and development of distributed material; high level of interaction between faculty and participants and within the participants themselves
Emphasis on facilitating learning and application to business context through pre-work and post work to be done by the participants before and after each session
International port visit cum study tour (optional)
Duration and timing: The total duration of the programme is 12 months. The programme is spread over three trimesters, each of four months
The programme delivery will be through a mix of sessions conducted on campus and through the HughesNet interactive learning platform. HughesNet classrooms are available in more than 90 cities across India (for a list of cities visit www.hugheseducation.com)
On campus sessions would be scheduled for 4-6 days every trimester at IIFT Delhi and subsequently week-end classes would be through the HCIL interactive technology platform as follows; Saturday-3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.; Sunday-9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Accommodation during the on campus sessions is not the responsibility of IIFT. The Institute may however facilitate accommodation during on campus sessions subject to availability
Fee: Programme fee- general category/OBC Rs 2,50,000/-; SC/ST/PH category Rs 1,25,000/-; books/ study material/campus fees Rs 17,000/-; alumni fees Rs 5,000/-
An application fee (Rs 1500/-) and a registration fees (2.5% of programme fees) will be charged in addition to the above
