IPHMR announces second academic session 2007-2008

Executive Post-graduate Diploma in Pharmaceutical Management – 15-month (12 + 3) programme.

Eligibility

• Graduates in Science, Technology, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biotechnology and allied subjects with a minimum of 50% marks or at least two years’ experience in Pharmaceutical Industry.

Admission

• The process of admission includes evaluation through written test, group discussion and interview conducted at the premises of IPHMR in Kolkata.

Sponsorship Procedure 

• After the process of admission is completed by IPHMR and students are enrolled, Industry representatives come to the campus and interview and select their candidate for sponsorship or select from the biodata sent across. The terms and conditions of sponsorship are mentioned in Industry: Institute Interface.

Campus Interview

• All the students should first be interviewed by the sponsoring companies, who has the first right of refusal. Such students refused by the sponsoring companies can sit for interviews conducted by the other companies.

• Last date for submission of filled in Application form: First Round  -  28 March 2007

• Written Test/Group Discussion/Personal Interview for selection: First Round  - 21-22 April 2007

• Announcement of list of selected candidates for in First Round: - 23 April 2007

• First Round Admission starts 25 April 2007

•  First Round Admission closes 9 May 2007

•  Last date for submission of filled in Application form: Second Round - 4 June 2007     

• Written Test/Group Discussion/Personal Interview for selection: Second Round : 9–10 June 2007

• Announcement of list of selected candidates for in Second Round 11 June 2007

• Second Round Admission starts 13 June 2007

• Second Round Admission closes 7July 2007

• Programme begins for Batch II - 18 July 2007

Important points to be noted by the applicants for admission

            Ensure despatch of duty filled-in application form with

• Attested copy of School Leaving Certificate and Mark sheet

•  Attested copy of H.S. / equivalent examination Certificate and Mark sheet

•  Attested copy of Graduate/Post-graduate Degree Certificate and Mark sheet with a minimum of 50% marks on the aggregate.

•  Passport size photograph duly signed affixed across the space provided in the application form.

•  Four additional copies of such signed passport size photograph.

•  Demand Draft for Rs. 951/- (Rupees Nine hundred fifty-one) only drawn in favour of “Institute of Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Management and Research” payable at Kolkata as fees for processing application including final selection for admission.

• In case the form is downloaded from the website, a Demand Draft of Rs. 1251/- (Rs. 300/- + 951/-) only drawn in favour of “Institute of Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Management and Research” payable at Kolkata as fees for application form and processing of application including final selection for admission.
