MBA Program in Power Management (2012-14)-XI batch (approved by AICTE and affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak

Through CAT score (conducted by IIMs)

Candidates desirous of joining the 2-year full-time program MBA in Power Management of NPTI for the academic session 2012-14 have to necessarily appear for the CAT-2011 exam (for non-sponsored category) being conducted by IIMs

Objective: This is a pioneering venture of two years duration to develop world-class Business Managers with a thorough understanding of Power Sector

Eligibility: B.E. or equivalent (General-60% marks in aggregate of all semesters, SC/ST minimum pass marks)

Selection: CAT score followed by group discussion and interview at NPTI, Faridabad

SEBs, Utilities and Private Sector Organisations may also sponsor candidates

Sponsored candidates need not appear for CAT examination

Placement: NPTI maintains close linkages with Power Industry to facilitate Placement. NPTI uses CAT scores for short-listing candidates for the MBA program. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the Program.
