Applications are invited for Admission to the Two Year Full Time Master Degree
Programme in Business Administration (MBA) in The Business School, University of
Jammu and its Kathua/ Bhaderwah Campuses commencing July/August, 2008
Eligibility
A Bachelor's Degree of 10+2+3 pattem in any discipline or any other
equivalent qualification with not less than 50% of the aggregate marks OR a pass in the final
examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants; Cost and Works Accountants;
Company Secretaries ORA.M.I.E. (Engineering) with at least 50% of the aggregate number
of marks (40% forSC/ST candidates).
Notwithstanding anything contained in the Statutes, a candidate who has appeared
OR is appearing in the final year of the Qualifying Examination in April/ May, 2008 is also eligible to apply and can take the test provisionally.

Admission Procedure
Selection for admission to the Course shall be made on the basis of (a) the Written Entrance Test. the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) being administered by AlMA on MAY 04, 2008 {Sunday)
(b) the weightage of the Academic Record; and
(c) Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
MAT Bulletin with Form may be obtained by sending Rs.750/- as DOdrawn in favour
of "AIMA-CMS" payable at New Delhi to the All India Management Association, 14,
Institutional Area, Lodhi Road, NewOelhi 110003.
The MAT Application Forms can also be obtained from The Business School,
University of Jammu, Jammu (By Hand Only) after paying Rs.750/- in cash. Besides,
the candidates shall also have to apply on the Application Formfor the MBA Programme of the University of Jammu, which can be obtained from the Business School by Hand on or before May 02, 2008 (Friday) against a Bank Draft for Rs. 700/- (Rupees Seven
hundred only) drawn in favour of 'Director, The Business School, University of
Jammu', payable at Jammu and additionally with a self addressedenvelope (23 an x 30 em) bearing postal stamps worth Rs. 60/-, not later than April 25, 2008 (Friday) if
required by Post.
The Last Date for receipt of Application Forms complete in all respects in The
Business School is May 02, 2008 (Friday).
The Admission Brochure-cum-Application Forms for admission to
the Course are available for sale in The Business School, University of Jammu w.e.f
March 14, 2008 (Friday).

* The University is also likely to start the MBA Programme at its Poonch Campus.
** The School shall also consider the MAT Scores of the candidates after June 2007 till May 2008
