Admission notice for graduate engineers

MBA Program in Power Management (2010-12) IX batch
(Approved by AICTE and affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand university, Rohtak)

Through CAT score (conducted by IIMs)

Candidates desirous of joining the 2-year full-time program MBA in Power Management of NPTI for the academic session 2010-12 have to necessarily appear for the CAT-2009 exam (for non-sponsored category) being conducted by IIMs

Objective: This is a pioneering venture of two years duration to develop world-class Business Managers with a through understanding of Power Sector

Eligibility: B.E. or equivalent (general 60% marks in aggregate of all semesters, SC/ST – minimum pass marks)

Selection: CAT score followed by GD and interview at NPTI, Faridabad. SEBs, utilities and private sector organizations may also sponsor candidates. Sponsored candidates need not appear for CAT examination

Placement: NTPI maintains close linkages with power industry to facilitate placement. NPTI uses CAT scores for short-listing candidates for the MBA program. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program
