Eligibility: Minimum three years bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University (or equivalent) with minimum 50 per cent aggregate marks. Candidates appearing for the final examination for the bachelor’s degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by 30th October, 2010
Application form: The institute’s brochure and application can be obtained by cash payment of Rs 1200/- from the institute campus/city office; by post enclosing a demand draft of Rs 1250/- drawn in favour of BITT Getlatu, payable at Ranchi; from select branches of Punjab national bank on cash payment of Rs 1200/-
Admission test scores: Candidates are required to produce the original CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA score card at the time of group discussion/personal interview
BITT uses CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA score for short listing candidates for the PGDM programme. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme
Candidates without any of the above-mentioned score card will have to face entrance test (BIET) conducted by the Institute
Group discussion and Interview: Group Discussion and Personal Interview forms an integral part of the selection process. The objective is to identify and assess interpersonal skills in addition to the overall knowledge of the student
Candidates short listed on the basis of admission test score (CAT/XAT/ MAT/ATMA/BIET) shall be called for group discussion and personal interview at Ranchi and such other places as the Institute deem necessary
Admission offer: Final selection is based on a careful evaluation of the applicant’s academic record, work experience, entrance test score, group discussion and personal Interview score. Successful candidates shall be informed of their final selection. Selected candidates must take admission within two weeks of receiving the admission offer, failing which the offer will stand withdrawn
Group discussion and personal interview: from 3rd August to 10th August, 2010

Attractive scholarship schemes are offered to students at distinct levels
For new admissions: Students securing 60 per cent or above in qualifying exam (at the bachelor’s level) will be entitled for scholarship of 10% of course fee (spread over four semesters), whereas students securing 70 per cent or above will be eligible for scholarship of 15% of course fee
For semester topper: We have system of providing adequate scholarships towards topper of each semester; apart from these the students are also eligible for Ram Vandana scholarship offered by our Trust
BITT has started a scheme of giving scholarship to students whose parent’s yearly income from all sources does not exceed Rs 1 Lac to alleviate the financial burden of students of all the categories
Weaker section (SC/ST) students are exempted from income limit to be eligible for above mentioned scholarship scheme
