Both the programmes are fully residential

In the year 2012, the 27th batch of PGDM students would graduate from TAPMI and the 2nd batch of PGDM (Healthcare Management) students would be inducted
The Institute is working closely with Manipal University to offer sectoral MBA programmes, as part of its expansion plan
Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM): TAPMI has adopted a two stage process for admitting candidates to the PGDM Programme
Valid CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE scores are mandatory pre-requisites to qualify for the admission process consisting of group-discussion/case analysis/interviews or other evaluation components the Institute deems fit
Based on scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT/GRE and academic excellence, work experience, extra-curricular and clarity of purpose, candidates are short-listed and invited to participate in the subsequent TAPMI admissions process (GD/PI)
Final selection will be based on performance in the TAPMI admissions process

CAT is used only for short listing of candidates for GD/PI. IIMs have no role in the selection process or conduct of the PGDM programme
Final selection will be based on performance in the TAPMI admissions process
Eligibility: A three-year (10+2+3) university degree in any discipline, recognised by the AIU as eligible for post graduation, with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks
This applies to also those with professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accounting and Company Secretary
Candidates appearing for final year degree examination may also apply
However such candidates, if selected by TAPMI, are required to produce proof of completion of graduation by the time they join the PGDM Programmes and submit their mark-lists and other testimonials within the stipulated date
Fee Details: The current academic fee payable by admitted students for the PGDM programme is Rs 8.25 lakhs comprises of the Tuition, Admission, Establishment, Academic resource, course material, Medicare and Alumni Association. Hostel fee is approx Rs 1.20 lakh for two years. Refundable caution deposit is Rs 15,000. Monthly food bill is approximately Rs 2,000
The handbook of Information for admissions 2012 is available on payment of Rs 1500/- at the branches/centers of any of the following sources; Axis Bank, Syndicate Bank, HDFC Bank, IMS Learning resources, T.I.M.E
Each handbook of information for admissions 2012 contains a Coded Payment Voucher as the last page and the coded number is revealed on scratching the appropriate spot. Once a candidate gets the coded number, he/she must access our on-line application, fill up the details and submit the same on-line, keying in the coded number
