15-month PG Diploma in Management (PGDM): Energy management with specialization in Power offered by MDI School of Energy Management

Course commences from July, 2009

Out of 15 months, 12 months residential classroom training at MDI and 3 months in respective organization for dissertation work.

Thrust of the Programme:
●          To select, train and develop the best talent available in power sector units so that we can meet the challenge of developing and managing our Power Sector in India
●          To discuss the salient features of various functional areas of management
●          To share experience on national and international best practices and innovations in community-based participative model
●          To facilitate awareness, understanding and implementation of key provisions of various enactments relating to Power Sector

Eligibility:
●          Three-year Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline recognized by AIU/AICTE
●          Minimum 5 years of post qualification executive work experience in the Power sector in central/state/private/other industries till 30 June, 2009
●          For self sponsored candidates age limit is not more than 32 years as on 30 June, 2009
●          For sponsored candidates age limit is not more than 45 years as on 30 June, 2009

Admission Procedure:
●          Multiple choice type screening test at Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata Centres on Sunday, 15 February, 2009
●          Candidates qualifying in the test will have to appear for interview on the same day

Fee:
Rs. 4,16,000 towards tuition fee, FDA, board and lodging charges to be paid by candidates/sponsoring organizations

Application Forms:
MDI application form along with prospectus will be available for sale on Demand Draft of Rs. 1,600/- in favor of ‘Management Development Institute’ payable at New Delhi or through post by sending demand draft for Rs. 1,750/- in favor of ‘Management Development Institute’ payable at New Delhi.

Last date for submission of Form:
The last date for submission of filled in application form at MDI campus is 31 January, 2009 and should be mailed to The Administrative Officer (Admissions), Management Development Institute, Mehrauli Road, Sukhrali, Gurgaon-122007-02 (Haryana)

Applicants can download the application forms and brochure online by visiting MDI website http://www.mdi.ac.in Candidate have to send application forms along with demand draft of Rs. 1,600/- in favor of ‘Management Development Institute’ payable at New Delhi, on or before 31 January, 2009.
