MBA-Admission Notice 2009-10

Admission Criteria: Applications are invited for admission to 175 seats in MBA Programme (2 years full-time trimester based) at Haryana School of Business (HSB). Admission shall be made on the basis of CAT-2008 Score only.

Eligibility Criteria: Any Graduate with 50% or equivalent marks (45% marks in case of SC candidates) or Fellow of ICSI/ICAI/ICFAI/ICWA/ similar body. The candidates appearing in the qualifying degree examination during 2008-09 session and also appeared in CAT-2008 (conducted by IIM, Kozhikode on 16.11.2008) shall be eligible to apply for admission. Indian Institute of Management has nothing to do with the admission process and as well as the conduct of the programme. However, the CAT-2008 Score shall be legitimately used for MBA-Admission 2009-10. Only short-listed candidates based on CAT-2008 Score shall be called for counseling and admission. The University reserves the right to decided the number of candidates to be called for counseling and admission.

Admission Form: Applications on admission form given in the HSB-Admission Prospectus-2009-10 should reach the office of the Director, Haryana School of Business, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar. The HSB-Admission Prospectus-2009-10 may be obtained from the Sale Counter of the University by paying Rs. 300/- in cash for general category candidates (Rs. 75/- for SC/BC/PH of Haryana). The Candidates who wish to have HSB-Admission Prospectus-2009-10 by post may send a demand draft of Rs. 350/- for general category (Rs. 125/- for SC/BC/PH of Haryana). The admission prospectus may also be downloaded from the university website www.gju.ernet.in and can be submitted along with a demand draft of Rs. 300/- (Rs. 75/- in case of SC/BC/PH of Haryana) drawn in favour of Registrar, GJUS&T, Hisar and payable at Hisar.

Last date of submission of duly filled up admission form: January 31, 2009 (5:00 pm).
