The Department of Financial Studies, announces admission to the XXIII batch of the Two-Year (full-time) Master of Finance and Control (MFC) Programme for the academic session 2009-2011 commencing from July, 2009.
The MFS programme opens a gateway to excellent career opportunities in Investment Banking, Equity Research, Wealth Management, Corporate Treasuries, Core Banking and Insurance, Real Estate and Commodity Markets, Business and Financial Consulting, Corporate Finance and other emerging areas in the financial sector.
Eligibility: Graduate (under 10+2+3)/Post-Graduate in any discipline, with at least 50% marks from the University of Delhi or any other University recognised as equivalent thereto. Reservation of seats as per the University rules for SC/ST, OBC and physically challenged candidates. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s Degree can also apply.
Test Centers: The Admission Test will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2009 between 11.00 a.m. 1.00 p.m. at Delhi, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.
Placements: Students of the previous batches are working with leading business and financial organisations such as Goldman Sachs, HSBC, DSP Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan Chase, SBI Caps, Ernst & Young, Deutsche Bank, Citi Group, GE, Kotak Group, Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Banks of America, ABN Amro Bank, ICICI, HDFC, Standard Chartered, CB Richard Ellis, Jones Lang Lasalle, DTZ, Hindustan Lever Ltd., Ranbaxy Labs, ICRA, CRISIL, SEBI, UTI, etc.
How to apply: The prospectus and application form are available between 10.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. (from Monday to Friday) from the office of the Department (Room NO. 329), Arts Faculty Building, South Campus on cash payment of Rs. 700/- (Rs. 200/- for SC/ST Candidates on submission of an attested copy of caste certificate) or by post, against a Demand Draft of Rs. 750/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST Candidates) drawn in favour of “Director University of Delhi South Campus” payable at State Bank of India, New Delhi along with two self-addressed slips of size 2” x 5”. The prospectus and application form can also be downloaded from www.mfc.edu. The downloaded form should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 750/- (Rs. 250/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of “Director, University of Delhi South Campus” and mailed to/submitted in Room No. 329, Department of Financial Studies, Arts Faculty Building, University of Delhi South Campus, Benito Juarez Road, New Delhi-110021.
