Diploma programmes

Post-graduate diploma in environmental law (PGDENLW) (one year post-graduate diploma jointly offered by IGNOU and WWF-India)

Delivered through distance as well as online mode - study anytime, anywhere; guidance by eminent personalities from academia and legal practitioners; tailor mode programme to suit the needs of professionals working in the field of environment

Eligibility: Graduation from any stream of study

Programme fee: Rs 10,000/-

 

Post-graduate diploma in criminal justice (PGDCJ) (one year post-graduate diploma in criminal justice)

Delivered through distance mode; keep pace with emerging developments in criminal justice; enhance the competencies of the professionals working in the area of criminal justice

Eligibility: Graduates in law, criminology, social work and functionaries of criminal justice administration

Programme fee: Rs 8,000/-

Certificate programmes

Certificate in International Humanitarian Law (six months certificate programme jointly offered by IGNOU and ICRC, Delhi)

Humanitarian Law made simpler to cater to the needs of all; brings issues of concern in South Asia; develops competency in understanding IHL

Eligibility: 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU

Programme fee: Rs 2,000/-

Certificate in Anti-human Trafficking (six month certificate programme to understand issues in Anti-human Trafficking)

Will make participants aware of rehabilitation and prevention mechanisms; field based experience will be gathered though project works

Eligibility: 10+2 or its equivalent or BPP from IGNOU

Programme fee: Rs 2,000/-

Certificate in Co-operation, Co-operative Law and Business Laws (six months certificate programme)

Develops specialization in cooperative and Business Laws; develops trained human resource in cooperative law

Eligibility: 10+2 with three years job experience or graduate from any stream

Programme fee: Rs 6,000/-

Last date for submission of applications: 30th June, 2010

Programmes commences on: 15th July, 2010

Last date of enrolments: 14th August, 2010

A late fee of Rs 200/- will be levied on all enrolment between 15th July, 2010 to 14th August, 2010
