Andhra Pradesh University of Law has been established on par with other National Law Schools
Three batches are admitted and now the admissions are for the fourth batch for the academic year 2012-13
Admissions will be made on the basis of your rank in CLAT-2012
Students who wish to join Andhra Pradesh University of Law should apply and appear for CLAT-2012 and after obtaining the CLAT rank they should apply to Andhra Pradesh University of Law
Admissions will be made from the candidates who have qualified in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT-2012) conducted by National Law University, Jodhpur on 13th May, 2012, Sunday
Candidates who have qualified in CLAT should apply with their CLAT Rank in the application provided in this website
Candidates should appear for CLAT‐2012 get qualified and apply for A.P. University of Law
Admissions will be on the basis of CLAT‐2012 ranking
In addition, to be eligible for admission, a candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent recognised by the University, with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/BC/ PwD)
Age: In case of General/BC candidates should not be more than 20 years of age as on 01st July, 2012
22 years in case of SC/ST/PwD candidates
All candidates seeking admission should note that 5 year Integrated B.A.-LL.B (Hons) Course is purely residential
Intake: The University admits 60 students with reservations as per Govt of Andhra Pradesh Rules
Candidates from other states and foreign nationals will also be admitted as per the existing rules
Duration of the course: The duration of the course shall be five academic years; 10 (ten) semesters
Each academic year is divided into two semesters
Each semester will have a minimum of ninety (90) working days
The academic calendar shall be announced in advance each year and will ordinarily be during July‐ December and January‐June, with winter internships, winter break and summer vacation
Medium of instruction shall be English only
The scheme of the study of the course shall be strictly in conformity with the syllabi and regulations prescribed by the Bar Council of India and A.P. University of Law from time to time
Last date for receipt of filled in application form 07th July, 2012, Saturday
Date of counseling 16th July, 2012, Monday
Commencement of classes for the academic year 24th July, 2012, Tuesday
