Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering, a constituent college of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati, was established in the year 1959, with an intake of 40 in each of the conventional disciplines of Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering, leading to the Degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.). Subsequently new disciplines and courses have been introduced both at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, in tune with the changing needs and scenario in the field of technical education.
