NMU CET 2019 – Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Common Entrance Test (CET–2019) for admission to following UG Courses in Affiliated Colleges/University Department (B.M.S., B.B.A., B.M.S. (e-Commerce), B.C.A., M.C.A. (Integrated), M.B.A. (Integrated)) for the Academic Year 2019-20

Courses Details

A Common Entrance Examination procedure will be adopted for admission to First Year Courses at the affiliated colleges in following subjects only:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligibility Criteria for appearing to CET: Candidates appeared for XII or equivalent OR XII Pass
  • Specific Criteria for admission to the following Courses: The specific eligibility criteria for the admission to the first year of various undergraduate courses are as follows:

For F.Y.B.B.A., F.Y.B.M.S., F.Y.B.M.S. (e-Commerce):

  • Candidate must have passed any 10+2 H.S.C, Exam of Maharashtra State or its equivalent exam or; Diploma in Engineering and Pharmacy from Maharashtra Technical Board or its equivalent or;
  • The Candidate who has passed the Senior Secondary School Exam conducted by the National Open School Delhi or;
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 M.C.V.C. course from Maharashtra State Education Board

For F.Y.B.C.A.

  • A candidate must have passed any (10+2) Standard H.S.C. Exam from Maharashtra State Board or Diploma recognized by Board of Technical Education with minimum duration of Three years or its equivalent or;
  • Candidate must have passed 10+2 M.C.V.C. course from Maharashtra State Education Board

For M.C.A. (Integrated)

  • Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology /Biology/ Technical Vocational Subject and obtained 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together

For MBA (Integrated)

  • A candidate should have passed any (10 + 2) standard (or equivalent) examinations and obtained 45% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to reserved category)

Reservation

  • The percentage of seats reserved for Backward Class category candidates as per the rules of Government of Maharashtra State is as below:
  • Scheduled Casts and Nav-Bouddha (SC) – 13.0%
  • Schedule Tribes (S.T.) 7.0%
  • Vimukta Jati (V.J.) and De notified Tribes (D.T.) 3.0%
  • Nomadic Tribes (N.T.-1) 2.5%
  • Nomadic Tribes (N.T.-2) 3.5%
  • Nomadic Tribes (N.T.-3) 2.0%
  • Other Backward Classes (O.B.C.) 19.0%
  • Total – 50.0%

Entrance Exam Details

  • The mode of entrance examination will be offline in the form of OMR Sheet
  • The question paper will consist of only objective questions. Each question has four options, out of each only one is correct. Entrance Exam consists of single paper of 90 minutes duration that contains 50 questions carrying maximum of 100 marks
  • Candidate should dark in the entire circle. Use black ball point pen for darkening the circle

NMU CET 2019 Application Form

  • Application form should be filled online on the website: www.nmu.ac.in and computer generated hard copy (print out) should be submitted to the nearby ARC (Application Receipt Centre) before 17.07.2019
  • Student will have to fill up online form as available on the university website http://www.nmu.ac.in A form will be generated for the students applying for CET. Student should take print out of the computer generated form and attach attested photocopies of necessary documents.
  • The Demand Draft worth Rs. 300/- in favour of “The Finance & Accounts Officer, Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon” drawn on Nationalized banks should be attached with the application form for the CET.
  • Forms should be submitted to the ARC as prescribed above in the brochure. After submitting the form, candidate should collect the Acknowledgement Receipt Slip from ARC

NMU CET 2019 Important Dates

  • Last date to submit the online application forms: 16th July 2019
  • Last date for receipt of the printed form along with Demand Draft and important documents: 17th July 2019
  • Display of list of eligible candidates 19th July 2019
  • Last date of receipt of objections in written form: 20 July 2019
  • Display of final list of eligible candidates: 22 July 2019
  • Issuance of Admit card/hall ticket: 23 July 2019
  • NMU UGCET 2019: 25 July 2019
  • Declaration of Result: 27 July 2019
