Defence

AFCAT : This is an All India level defence recruitment exam to select candidates for Air force. AFCAT is held twice a year, for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent/ Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches through Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT)

UPSC CDS: The Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) is another defence recruitment all India level entrance exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. The exam is held twice a year for recruitment into the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Officers Training Academy (OTA), Indian Naval Academy (INA) and Indian Air Force (IAF) Academy.

 

Indian Army University Entry Scheme :  

Indian Army recruites unmarried Male B.E/ B.Tech Graduates for Grant of Permanent Commission in the Indian Army for University Entry Scheme (Pre Final year) Course at Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun & Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. Medical

NEET: The National Eligibility- cum- Entrance Test (NEET-PG) is an all India level entrance exam for graduate students who wish to study postgraduate medical course (MD/ MS) in government or private medical colleges of India. It is conducted by the NATBOARD.

 

JIPMER PG Medical Entrance Exam: Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) PG Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to MD / MS course. This medical entrance exam is conducted once in a year.

PGIMER MD, MS Entrance Exam: Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh. Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) Courses. Admission to various MD/MS courses conducted at the Institute is made twice a year. The admission to the above courses of the Institute is made on merit on all India basis, by holding an entrance exam by the Institute, after issuing a countrywide admission notice. The sessions commence from first January and first July each year The Institute follows a residency service-cum-training scheme. Candidates admitted to MD/MS Courses are called Junior Residents.

 

Combined Medical Services Examination : UPSC conducts computer based combined medical examination for recruitment to the services and posts of Assistant Medical Officer in railways, Indian Ordnance Factories Health Service, junior scale posts in central health services, etc. For admission to the examination, you should have passed the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. examination.

 

NEET-MDS : NEET-MDS is an eligibility-cum-ranking examination prescribed as the single entrance examination to various Post Graduate MDS Courses under Dentists Act, 1948. NEET-MDS is a single window entrance examination for Dental PG courses. No other entrance examination, either at state or institution level, shall be valid for entry to MDS Courses as per Dentists Act, 1948.

MBA

Common Admission Test (CAT): Common Admission Test (CAT) is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) every year. It is an all India level entrance exam for admission to the Post-graduate and Fellow Programmes in the management courses offered by the IIMs as well as many management institutes all across the country. The CAT percentage differs from college to college.

 

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT): Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is conducted for admission to all management programmes approved by AICTE and it is an all-India level entrance exam held once in a year. CMAT is also conducted by AICTE in foreign countries for NRIs/PIOs and foreign nationals seeking admission in B- Schools in India.

 

Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT): Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted by Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI) for admissions in management courses of different management colleges all across India.

NMAT: NMAT entrance test is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council for admission to all the management courses of NMIMS Mumbai and the PGDM courses of NMIMS Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

 

Management Aptitude Test (MAT): Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Service (AIMATS) on quarterly basis for admission to MBA programmes in various  participating management colleges.

 

Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET): MH-CET is conducted for graduates seeking admissions in MBA/MMS and PGDBM/PGDM in Government University Departments, University managed and unaided institutes in the state of Maharashtra.

 

IBSAT: IBSAT is an online entrance test for graduates seeking admission in the nine Indian Business Schools at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Dehradun, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Pune. The test is conducted in 100 Test Centres across India.

 

ATMA: AIMS Test for Management Admissions (ATMA) is an MBA Entrance Exam in India. The exam is conducted by the Association of Indian Management School for PGDM/ MBA/ MCA/ PGCM courses. Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India approves this exam for various post graduate management courses.

 

UPSEE: Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow will conduct the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) for admission to 1st year of B.Tech/ B.Pharm/ B.Arch/ BHMCT/ BFAD/ MBA/ MCA/MAM and 2nd year of B.Tech /B.Pharm/MCA (Lateral Entry) Programs.

 

ICET: Andhra Pradesh Integrated Common Entrance Test (AP ICET) is conducted by Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati on behalf of A.P. State Council of Higher Education for admission into the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Computer Applications (MCA) & Lateral entry into Second year of Master of Computer Application (MCA) Programs in University Colleges and their affiliated colleges.

 

KMAT: KMAT Kerala MBA Entrance Test Notification – KMAT Kerala will be conducted by the University of Kerala for the candidates seeking admission to various MBA Courses. The online applications are invited for the MBA Entrance Examination.

 

Odisha JEE: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) is the State Level Entrance Test of Odisha State, which is controlled by the State Govt. This entrance test is conducted for admission to various courses in Private & Governmental Medical, Engineering & Management Institutions of Odisha.

 

TANCET: TANCET Notification – Applications for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of Government of Tamil Nadu from candidates who seek admission to (i) MBA (ii) MCA, and (iii) M.E. / M.Tech / M.Arch / M.Plan Degree Programs.

 

CUSAT: Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) conducts entrance exam for admission to various academic programs of the University. All admissions are on the basis of online Common Admission Test (CAT) or online Lateral Entry Test (LET) or Departmental Admission Test (DAT) conducted by the University

Admission to MBA Program is based on C-MAT (AICTE) / MAT (AIMA) / CAT (IIM) score, GD & Interview and for M.Tech GATE score.

 

HPMAT: Himachal Pradesh University Management Aptitude Test acronym as HPU MAT is University level exam conducted by the Himachal Pradesh University Business School (HPUBS) to admission to the candidates in the MBA Programs of different Universities of the HP and institutes affiliated to these Universities.

 

UPES MET: University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) conducts UPES MET for the admission of candidates in MBA Courses. The candidates interested in studying Management from UPES can apply now.

 

KIITEE: KIIT Entrance Examination (KIITEE) is the All India Entrance Examination conducted by (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) (KIIT University), Bhubaneswar for admission into following courses of the University. For overseas Universities

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT): GMAT, a computer-based entrance exam for admissions in more than 2100 foreign universities. It is a registered trademark of the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). It is the selection criteria for admission into different graduate management programmes, including MBA, Master of Finance programmes, Master of Accountancy abroad.

 

Graduate Record Examinations (GRE): GRE is conducted for graduates seeking admission in various business schools situated in the US and other countries. The test is conducted and managed by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) in more than 700 centres in over 160 countries.

 

For MTech, ME and MA

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE): GATE is jointly conducted by the Indian Institute of Science and seven Indian Institutes of Technology. It is a national level entrance examination for admissions in MTech and ME courses in different colleges.

 

Joint Admission Test for M.Sc. (JAM): IIT JAM is conducted on an all-India level by Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian Institute of Science for admission to M.Sc., Ph.D., M.Sc.-Ph.D. and other post-graduate degree programmes at the IITs and also the integrated Ph.D. programmes at IISc.

 

CEED : Common Entrance Exam for Design is an all India examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India. The objective of CEED is to assess the candidate’s aptitude for design, involving visual perception ability, drawing skills, logical reasoning, creativity, and communication skills. Its a post Graduate concern for Engineering based subjects.

HSEE by IIT Madras – Humanities and Social Sciences Entrance Examination or HSEE is a national level entrance test conducted every year by IIT Madras for admission to the master programme offered by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) of the Institute.

Law Entrance Exam

LSAT India: The Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a worldwide Level Law Entrance Examination. LSAT exam is organized to offer admission into various Law Colleges/Institutions of India and Foreign Countries.

CLAT: The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is an all India entrance examination conducted annually for admission to Nineteen (19) National Law Universities for their under-graduate and post-graduate degree programs. CLAT Exam is taken after Class 12th for admission to integrated undergraduation programmes in Law and after Graduation in Law for Master of Laws (LL.M) programmes conducted by these law universities.

Civil Services Examination (CSE): A nationwide competitive examination CSE is conducted for graduates by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for recruitment to Civil Services in Government of India including  Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Revenue Service (IRS).

Indian Engineering Services Exam

Abbreviated as the civil services recruitment exam that meets the need for technical and managerial functions of Government. The Government of India recruits its civil servants and officials on the basis of merit, the middle management positions in the bureaucracy are buried through competitive exams. IES officers are selected by the union government on the recommendations made by the UPSC. A combined three-stage competitive examination (comprising five tests), called the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services.

 

Indian Economic Service Examination (IES): IES is an administrative civil service examination for graduates with Economics/Statistics that includes Grade A of the Central Civil Services of the executive branch of the Government of India.

 

Indian Statistical Service Examination (ISS): ISS is another examination for Statistics/Mathematics/Economics graduates to get recruited as Grade IV officers of the services of Indian Statistic.

Indian Council of Agriculture Research (ICAR): ICAR is an entrance exam that a science graduate can appear seeking admission in post-graduation in agriculture related studies in Indian Universities.

CTET Exam: CBSE CTET – The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a candidate to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII.

SSC Combined Graduate Level Exams: SSC is a Short Service Commission Combined Graduate Level Exams for graduates from any recognised university. Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination : On behalf of the participating Universities, the Jawaharlal Nehru University holds Combined Biotechnology Entrance Examination in the month of May for admission to M.Sc. (Biotechnology); (2) M.Sc.Agri./M.V.Sc(Biotechnology) and (3) M.Tech (Biotechnology) Programmes being offered by various participating Universities.

 

JGEEBILS : The Nationwide Entrance Examination (GS) for Biology is also called the Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology and Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS). FDDI All India Selection Test : Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI) takes a Computer based entrance test (Math, English, reasoning/General science & GK) for its various programs at UG and PG Level. For PG courses students with valid CAT/ MAT/XAT scores also eligible. The entrance is conducted in June and the last date for registration is usually in second week of May.

 

10+2 pass students with 50% marks or more from a recognized board are eligible.
