Applications for JET-2012 are invited from candidates desirous of seeking admission to diploma courses in the institutions (located in Punjab and Chandigarh-UT) affiliated to the Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training

Admission will be made on the basis of inter-se-merit of (JET) Joint Entrance Test to be held on 19th May, 2012

Eligibility

The test shall be open to candidates who have passed the matriculation examination with Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and Engineering from state board/central board i.e. CBSE/ICSE/National Open School

JET application forms are available at a cost of Rs 50/- in the designated branches of Punjab National Bank (list of branches on board’s website), affiliated Polytechnic Colleges, Schools, Suvidha Centres at Deputy Commissioner Offices in Punjab and also at the Board’s office

Many Scholarships/fee concessions are available for the economically weaker section and meritorious students

Provision for admission to 2nd year B.Tech colleges on the basis of diploma

Diploma holder can apply for direct admission to 2nd year Engineering course at ATMC-University Ballarat, Australia

Many institutions universities of other countries carry forward credits of Diploma courses for further studies
