Eligibility Criteria

  • A candidate who possesses the following qualifications shall be eligible for admissions to join the course:
  • Candidates with at least 50% Marks either in Bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in Science/Social Sciences/Humanities/Commerce/Home Science/B.B.A/B.C.A, B.A.LL.B., B.Com. LL.B. or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. However, while calculating merit, marks obtained in Entrance Test only be considered for admission to B.Ed.
  • There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/ST/PwD candidates. Candidates with less than 45% marks belonging to these categories shall not be eligible.
  • Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematicswith 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/ST/PwD candidates. Candidates with less than 50% marks belonging to these categories shall not be eligible. However, while calculating merit, marks obtained in Entrance Test only be considered for admission to B.Ed.
  • Candidates must have studied the major subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelor’s level and/or two years at Master’s level.
  • Honors students shall opt for a major subject in which they have obtained Honors, the minor subject should have been studied at least for one year/one semester.
  • Candidates who have passed B.A.LL.B/ B.Com. LL.B with at least Fifty Percent marks in a relevant school subject.
  • A candidate getting admission on the basis of Post Graduate Degree shall have to opt for a major subject in which they have obtained Master Degree.
  • Any candidate who has passed graduation even without a relevant school subject would be eligible only for B.Ed Yoga and B.Ed Special Education (Intellectual Disabilities) courses.

  • For General Category : Rs 2400/-
  • For SC / ST / PWD Category : Rs 1200/-

Exam Pattern

  • Entrance test will be conducted on 21/08/2022 from 10.30 A.M. to 12.30 P.M. The single booklet will contain questions as per the details given below:

Note:

  • Paper shall consist of 120 multiple choice questions and be of a total of 120 marks as explained above.
  • Q. No. 1-75 will be in English, Hindi and Punjabi medium only.
