COMEDK Results are Out - The top scores in medical and engineering streams in the entrance test conducted by the Consortium of Medical, Dental and Engineering of Karnataka (Comed-K) is out -It’s 167 out of 180 in the engineering stream and 163 out of 180 in medical Comed-K on Tuesday hosted the test score of candidates who appeared for the Comed-K entrance test for admission to professional courses in private colleges on its website (www.comedk.org).
Despite being an all India test, with students from outside State outnumbering students from the state 2:1, it is State candidates who have topped in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics papers.
State students have also done better when it comes to being eligible to select seats in the medical/dental and engineering streams.
According to Comed-K officials, the highest score in physics is 57 out of 60, chemistry (58 out of 60), biology (58 out of 60) and mathematics (60 out of 60).
The candidate who scored the highest in biology is from outside the state.
However, the names of the candidates were not revealed, as there is a provision to challenge the test scores.
Candidates seeking any clarifications with regard to test scores can write to Comed-K indicating the grievance in a prescribed format which can be downloaded from Comed-K website.
The last date to file objections pertaining to test scores in May 28. The final rank list will be announced on June 4.
The medical stream ranks will be assigned by considering the marks scored in physics, chemistry and biology entrance papers and the engineering ranks will be assigned by considering the marks scored in physics, chemistry and mathematics entrance papers To become eligible to select a engineering seat, a candidate has to secure 45 per cent in II PU in PCM.
There is no cut off in the entrance test to become eligible to select a medical/dental seat, a candidate has to secure 50 per cent in II PU in PCB and also 50 per cent in the Comedk entrance test.
