Anna University has started up the center for Distance Learning to strengthen the Professional Education and to meet growing global trend of extending conventional University instructional mode to online. Along with other Distance Learning courses Anna University offers one general MBA Program and seven other sectoral MBA courses with duration of two years each which are-

Duration of Distance education MBA from Anna University is Four Semesters
The eligibility criteria for the students who wants to pursue MBA is that he/she should be a graduate and must have cleared the Distance Education Entrance Test (DEET) conducted by Anna University.
There are four centres in which the entrance test is conducted-
- Chennai
- Coimbatore
- Madurai
- Trichy
- Vellore
Candidates who qualify in the Entrance Test will be provisionally selected for admission.
A rank list will be prepared based on the marks scored in the DEET and admission is based on the rank obtained. A separate rank list will be prepared for TANCET candidates based on TANCET score and they will be considered for admission as per their rank against the seats set apart for them.

Fee for the first semester-

Fee for every subsequent semester-
- Tuition Fee- Rs. 3000

NOTE: The students who are differently abled are exempted from the payment of Tuition Fee of Rs. 3000.
