Course Contents: The course includes Foundation courses on Society, Indian Society, Modern India, Glimpses of Society through literature and Science & Society, etc. The second year has papers on economics, political science, sociology and history. The third year has specialisation in one of the selected subjects on Social Science with three papers. Communication skills and study of some social problems are obligatory subjects. The course is designed to create awareness about social, economic and political life. English is offered as an additional subject.
