Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites applications from fresh candidates and working professionals for admission to the following diploma and degree programmes in engineering with flexible timings

Announces admission to Vertically Integrated Engineering Programme (VIEP) 2010-11 session

Diploma and degree programmes in engineering in flexible Open University pattern

Civil Engineering (CE), Electrical Engineering (EE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)

The above programmes are being offered at selected programme study centres of IGNOU

Diploma in Engineering

Admission to 1st year: 10th pass or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate (duration 3 years)

Admission to lateral entry: 10+2 years ITI certificate in engineering trades or 10+2 Vocational (engineering streams only) with minimum 50% aggregate (duration 2 years)

Degree in Engineering (B.Tech)

Admission to 1st year: 10+2 pass (PCM) or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate in PCM (duration 4 years)

Admission to lateral entry: 3 years diploma in any branch of engineering or B.Sc (PCM) or Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) or Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate (duration 3 years)
