Question :
I want to know how do I get admission to the following colleges i.e. by which entrance examination for B.tech/B.E. courses. I visited their respective website but I haven't got it.
* Aligarh Muslim University -- Zakir Hussain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh;
* Andhra University -- College of Engineering, Visakhapatanam, Andhra Pradesh; EAMCET
* Bengal Engineering College, Howrah, West Bengal;
* Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi, Kerala;
* Jadavpur University's Engineering and Technology Departments, Kolkata, West Bengal; and
* Osmania University -- College of Engineering and College of Technology, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.
Please send me reply as early as possible as I do can prepare for it & I can fill application form too for the examination before deadline, it will be a great pleasure for me. |
ANSWER:
For admission to above colleges you should appear for respective entrance examinations, conducted by the state or the examination recognized by the respective colleges for admission to BE / BTech programme.
For an example for admission to Osmania University -- College of Engineering and College of Technology, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh you should appear for EAMCET examination conducted by the Andhra Pradesh govt. But admission to these colleges is regulated as per the rules and regulation of the individual state. Many times you will not be eligible for admissions unless and otherwise you have permanent residence certificate in that state. So unless I know from which state you are it will be difficult for me to give you the admission detail process. Incase you want to join Self – financing colleges in other state you have to appear separate examination conducted by the association of self financing colleges of that particular state. For example admission to self financing college in Karnataka you have to appear for COMED–K examination.
