JEE Main 2015 examination will be the third Joint Entrance Examination (Main). The exam is to be conducted under the guidance of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, GOI, by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The JEE Main is conducted by the JEE Apex Board for admission to undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc.

The examination is one of the top entrance examinations which students undergo for admission to institutions for admission to B.E./ B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Planning courses.

Today let’s look at some of the queries pertaining to JEE Main 2015 computer based examination and center allocation:

What happens in case a student fails to book his session for online examination after paying the fees and how will he know about the date and session of the examination?

As per the notification released by CBSE for JEE main 2015 it has been clearly mentioned that in case a candidate does not make any selection then they will be randomly assigned a slot/date as per the availability of the same. The details of session and slot will be given on the admit card which will be made available by March 01, 2015.

Is there any provision for students wishing to appear for both the exams at different centers i.e Paper -1 be Computer based and Paper -2 being Pen and Paper based

The thing with appearing for both the exam is that since Paper-2 is only in offline mode, a student who is appearing for both the papers , paper 1 being online mode and paper 2 being offline mode will only get such centers that have facility for both the modes of examination. Also two different roll numbers and admit cards cannot be issued to a candidate to appear at different centres for paper 1 and 2 separately.
