Grade – II (Allopathic)

Online applications through website of ESIC at www.esic.nic.in are invited for filling up the post of Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Grade-II (Allopathic) for ESI Hospitals in the state of Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh

Insurance Medical Officer (IMO) Grade-II (Allopathic): 75 Posts (67 vacancies for Gujarat state, 02 vacancies are reserved for Person with Disabilities as per govt of India instructions)

The candidates appointed under PwD quota will be adjusted against the vacancy of respective categories of SC/ST/OBC/General

ESI Hospital in Gujarat: UR 32; SC 12; ST 05; OBC 18; Total 67

ESI Hospital, Baddi, Himachal Pradesh: UR 01; SC 05; ST 01; OBC 01; Total 08

The vacancies may increase or decrease depending upon the actual requirement

Scale of pay: Rs 15600-39100/- plus grade pay Rs 5400/- (in addition to pay they will also be eligible for DA, NPA, HRA and transport allowance as per rules in force from time to time; at present average minimum monthly emoluments including DA, NPA, HRA and transport allowance in metropolitan cities is approximately Rs 49,786/- per month)

Perquisites: ESIC traditionally looks after its employees well accordingly facilities for reimbursement of entertainment, mobile, telephone, internet, newspapers etc are available; other facilities like leave travel concession (LTC), encashment of earned leave, advances for various purposes etc are also available as per scheme of the corporation

Age limit: Not exceeding 30 years as on 31st January, 2012

Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for employees of ESI corporation and govt servants in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the central govt

Upper age limit is also relaxable to SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-servicemen and other categories of persons as per rules/instructions of govt of India
