NOTICE-DNB-CET
JUNE-2008
National Board of Examinations will conduct the DNB-CET Examinations on 15th 2008 from:

1. Office of Board at Ansari Nagar, New Delhi Through Bank draft/ Pay Order of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of National Board of Examinations payable at New Delhi.
2. Can be downloaded from the website www.natboard.edu.in (bulletin fee of Rs. 500/- will have to be paid for downloaded forms alongwith the fee for examination) (w.e.f. 1st April, 2008)
3. The Bulletin of Information can also be obtained on cash payment of Rs. 500/- from selected branches of Indian Band-the details of which can be browsed at the website www.natboard.edu.in home page under the heading “Notice” wherein the same has been listed in circular dated 31st March, 2008 as “NOTICE-DNB-CET-JUNE 2008 APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE.

The last date of submission of application form :
(i)   CET Examination                         :   21st April, 2007
(ii)  DNB Final (Broad Specialities)     :  14th April, 2007

DNB-CET 2008 Information Bulletin and Application Form for DNB CET and DNB Final(Broad Specialities) for June, 2008 Examination are available in website and Indian Bank (specified branches)

CENTRALISED ENTRANCE TEST (CET- NBE)
The DNB CET is an entrance examination for entry to the DNB Broad
Specialties. The next session of the examination shall be held in the month of June 2008.

Qualifying the CET is an essential pre-requisite for entry to the DNB Broad Specialties.

Candidates successful in the DNB CET can apply to institutions accredited by the National Board of Examinations for pursuing the 3 years postgraduate DNB programme in various broad specialties.

ELIGIBILITY:
a. Indian Degrees: Candidates who are in possession of medical
degrees from Indian Universities registerable as per provisions of
Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India/State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship on or before the last date of submission of the application form i.e. 21st April 2008.

b. Foreign Degrees: Candidates who are in possession of degrees from foreign universities and possess provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by Medical Council of India/State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship on or before the last date of submission of the application form (15th April 2008) can also apply for June 2008 examination.

c. Submission of Internship Completion Certificate and Certificate of
Registration on Permanent/Provisional basis with MCI/SMC is an
essential pre-requisite. In case the candidate does not submit the
Internship Completion & Registration Certificate with the
application form, his/her application shall be rejected and fees
forfeited.
