Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test, Cell Competent Authority shall conduct the MAH-B.P.Ed. CET-2018 for the admission to the First Year of the Two Year Full Time Professional Undergraduate Degree Course in Physical Education leading to Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) Degree for the Academic Year 2018-19

  • The Online applications are invited for CET for admission to First Year of Two Year Full Time Regular Course in Physical Education in the Govt.- Aided, Govt. – Aided Minority, University Managed, and Unaided & Unaided Minority Institutions in the Maharashtra State
  • The admissions to the following institutes will be done by the Competent Authority, provided they are approved and recognized by Govt. of Maharashtra and are Affiliated to any of the Non-agricultural University in the State of Maharashtra
  • All Govt. Aided Colleges (including Aided Minority Institutions) offering B.P.Ed. Course
  • All University Departments(Aided/Self Financed) offering B.P.Ed. Course
  • All University Managed Institutes offering B.P.Ed. Course
  • All Un-aided colleges (including Minority Institutions) offering B.P.Ed. Course, covered as per the Act

Important Dates

  • Online Registration for MAH-B.P.Ed.-CET-2018 through Computer connected to Internet on the Website – First Date: 10th April 2018; Last Date: 10th May 2018
  • Last Date to Apply: 10th May 2018
  • Issue of Hall Ticket through login of successfully registered candidates: 29th May 2018 onwards
  • Date of Online MAH-B.P.Ed.-CET-2018: 01st June 2018 (Sunday)
  • Date of Field Test (Off line): 02nd June 2018 and 03rd June 2018
  • Declaration of Result of the MAH-B.P.Ed-CET 2018 on the Website: 21st June 2018

 

Eligibility for MAH-B.P.Ed.CET-2018

  • Candidate should be an Indian National and should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 50% marks* (Minimum 45%* in case of Backward Class categories belonging to the State of Maharashtra) and having at least participation in the inter-college/Inter-Zonal /district/School Competition in Sports &Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India or;
  • Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education(BPE) with 45% marks (Minimum 40% marks in case of Backward Class Categories) or;
  • Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 45% marks* (Minimum 40% marks* in case of Backward Class Categories belonging to the State of Maharashtra) and studied Physical Education as Compulsory/Elective subject or;
  • Candidate should have passed Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks* (Minimum 40% marks* in case of Backward Class Categories belonging to the State of Maharashtra) and having participated in National/Inter-University/State Competitions or secured 1st ,2nd or 3rd position in Inter-College/Inter–Zonal/District /School Competition in Sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India

 

Age Criteria

  • There is no upper age limit for admission to MAH-B.P.Ed. CET Examin the Academic Year 2018-19
  • The age will be calculated as on 01st July 2018

 

MAH-B. P.Ed. CET and Field Test 2018 Schedule

  • MAH-B.P.Ed. CET 2018 shall be conducted only in the Online Mode in Multiple Sessions, if required, in selected centers in the State of Maharashtra. MAH-B.P.Ed. CET-2018 will be conducted on 01st June 2018
  • Candidates shall have to appear for the On-Line CET strictly as per the date and session allotted to them at the allotted Venue and Center. No candidate will be allowed to appear for the Test in other than the allotted Session. No request for Centre, Venue and Session change will be entertained
  • Field Test for B.P.Ed 2018 will be conducted on Saturday 02nd June 2018 to Sunday 03rd June 2018 and (Monday 04th June 2018 if required, depending upon the Number of Candidates) Any change in date due to administrative reason will be flashed on the website only and no separate communication will be done in this regard

 

Exam Fees for MAH-B.P.Ed.CET-2018

  • Application Form Processing Fees as stated below is to be paid through online system only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro),Internet Banking, IMPS; Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form Processing Fees
  • No other mode of payment shall be permitted
  • The fees is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances
  • For all Candidates from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), Open Category candidates from Maharashtra State and J&K Migrant candidates – Rs. 800/-*
  • For Candidates belonging to Maharashtra State of BC (SC, ST, VJ/DT(A), NT-1 (-B) NT-2 (-C), NT-3(-D), OBC/SBC Categories – Rs.400/-*

  • The application form is integrated with payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions.
  • The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro). Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallet

 

Application Process for MAH-B.P.Ed.-CET 2018

  • Applicants to visit DHE’s website www.dhepune.gov.in/ www.mahacet.org/cetcell and open the given link. For filling the Online Application Form, they should click on the option "APPLY ONLINE" which will open a new screen
  • In order to appear for MAH-B.P.Ed. CET2018, the candidates are required to apply On-Line as per the detailed procedure/guidelines given below:
  • Before applying online, applicants should:
  • Candidates should go through the Information Brochure made available to them online and check for Eligibility criteria. Scan their photograph and signature ensuring that both the photograph and signature adhere to the required specifications as given under Guideline for Photograph and Signature Scan and Upload
  • Have a valid e-mail ID and Mobile No., which should be kept active till the completion of this Admission Process
  • Applicants are required to visit DHE’s website www.dhepune.gov.in or CET CELL’s website www.mahacet.org and open the given link

 

Hall Ticket

  • In the Information Brochure and latest Notifications /Notices published on the websites, the candidates will have to visit thewww.dhepune.gov.in or www.mahacet.org website for downloading Hall Ticket for online Test
  • Intimations for downloading Hall Ticket will also be sent through Email/SMS
  • Candidates should keep their Emails and Mobile Phones active during the entire admission process. Candidates having Do Not Disturb mode active may not get SMS alerts

 

Test Centers for MAH-B.P.Ed.-CET

  • MAH-B.P.Ed.-CET 2018 will be conducted online only at following selected cities in Maharashtra: Amravati, Nagpur, Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Jalgaon and Solapur/Barshi
  • The cities in which MAH-B.P.Ed.-CET 2018 will be conducted are designated as Centersfor the CET. Each Centre may have many Venuesdepending upon the number of candidates appearing at that Centre

 

Syllabus and Marking Scheme for MAH-BP.Ed. CET 2018

  • The Online CET is comprising of one paper with three sections:
  • General Knowledge – 15 No. of Questions; 01 Marks Questions; and 15 Total Marks
  • Mental Ability – 15 No. of Questions; 01 Marks Questions; and 15 Total Marks
  • Teacher Aptitude – 20 No. of Questions; 01 Marks Questions; and 20 Total Marks
  • Total – 50 No. of Questions; 1 per Question; and 50 Total Marks
  • The questions will be objective Multiple-Choice Questions with Four options
  • There is no Negative Marking
  • The time allotted is One Hour Sixty Minutes
  • Medium of Test will be English, Marathi and Hindi
