Admission to M.Sc programmes at the School of Social Sciences (SOSS)

Applications are invited for admission to 2-year post-graduate programmes leading to M.Sc degrees in

1. Actuarial Economics

2. Applied Quantitative Finance

3. Environmental Economics

These programmes will be offered through joint collaboration between Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and Madras School of Economics (MSE) on a full time on-campus basis with face-to-face teaching at IGNOU, New Delhi, and MSE, Chennai

Eligibility: Graduates in any subject with strong Mathematical/Statistical background (having at least plus 2 level Mathematics) are eligible to apply for the programmes

Admission will be based on a common entrance test to be held simultaneously in Chennai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai on 14th July, 2010

The filled in application forms, along with a draft of Rs 1,000/- (Rs 500/- in case of SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi, should be sent to the Registrar, Student Registration Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 on or before 10th July, 2010
