Association of Private dental and medical colleges will be conducting an entrance test which is fair, transparent and non-exploitative

Thus under the supervision of admission and fee regulatory committee Pre-PG-DMAT-examination 2011 is being conducted for admission

Last date for receiving complete application form at office of the Association of private dental/medical colleges of Madhya Pradesh, D-MAT office, E-2/51, Arera Colony, Bhopal-462016: 13th April, 2011

Date of examination: 17th April, 2011, Sunday, 09.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon

Examination centre: Indore

Date of result (tentative): 22nd April, 2011

Date of counseling (tentative): 28th April, 2011, Thursday

Pre-PG-DMAT-2011 will be conducted at Indore city

Duration of the test will be of three hours. The medium of the test shall be English only

No candidate will be allowed to appear for Pre-PG-DMAT-2011 unless she/he holds valid admit card issued by APDMC

Availability of application forms and brochure: Application forms of Pre-PG-DMAT-2011 will be available from 15th February, 2011 onwards at office of the Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges, DMAT office E-251 Arera Colony Bhopal, Modern Dental College and Research Centre, Gandhi Nagar, Indore, People’s College and Dental Sciences and Research Centre, Bhanpur, Bhopa, R.D. Gardi Medical College, Ujjain, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences, Indore, People’s College of Medical sciences and RC, Bhopal, Index Medical College Hospital and RC, Indore, People’s Dental Academy, Bhopal and Hitkarini Dental College and Hospital, Jabalpur on payment of Rs 1500/- (Rs one thousand five hundred only) in cash or through a demand draft drawn in favour of APDMC payable at Bhopal

The application form is also available on website of APDMC www.apdmcmp.com and can be downloaded from this site. In case the application form has been downloaded from website it shall be submitted along with demand draft of Rs 2500/- (cost of application form and examination fee in favour of APDMC, payable at Bhopal)

Application form can also be obtained from above centres by post by remitting a demand draft of Rs 1600/- (including postal charges)

Filled in application forms should be submitted on or before 13th April, 2011 at the office of Association of Private Dental and Medical Colleges of Madhya Pradesh, DMAT office E-2/51 Arera Colony, Bhopal, either personally or by post/courier with examination fee of Rs 1000/- through a demand draft drawn in favour of APDMC, payable at Bhopal

Candidates deposit examination fee by cash in DMAT office and obtain necessary receipt

Eligibility: The candidate must have passed BDS/MBBS course from any of the recognized Dental/Medical College in India

Candidate must have completed compulsory rotating internship from an institution recognized by the Dental council of India/medical council of India on or before 31st March, 2011

Candidate must be registered with the Dental council of India/Medical council of India of any state in India

Candidates not eligible: Candidate’s who have not completed internship on or before 31st March, 2011

Candidates who are registered for PG degree and have not completed the terms

Candidates who have not obtained permanent DCI/MCI state DC/MC registration by the time of submission of application. Except for those who will be completing the internship by 31st March, 2011, such candidates will have to submit registration certificate latest by 2nd May, 2011

NRI seats: 15% of the sanctioned seats shall be filled by merit under NRI quota

How to apply: The NRI candidates shall apply directly to the Head of the concerned institution in the application form prescribed by the institution. NRI candidates are not required to appear in Pre-PG-DMAT-2011

Mark sheet: The candidate will receive the mark sheet by post UPC within a week of declaration of results. Mark sheet will contain marks obtained by candidate and his merit ranking

Duplicate mark sheet: In case of loss of original Pre-PG-DMAT-2011 mark sheet a duplicate mark sheet can be obtained on making an application on plain paper to the controller of examinations along with Rs 1000/- in cash or demand draft in favour of APDMC, payable at Bhopal

Mode of selection: On the basis of the marks obtained by candidates in the Pre-PG-DMAT-2011 merit list will be prepared depending upon number of sanctioned seats. Remaining candidates up to a fixed number will be kept in the waiting list

Selection procedure: The allotment of MDS/MD/MS courses will be done on the basis of the Pre-PG-DMAT-2011 merit list and the course preferences given by the candidate at the time of counseling

Candidate selected for admission shall be subject to disciplinary rules of Devi Ahilya Bai Vishwavidhyalaya/Barkatullaha Vishwavidhyalaya/Vikram Vishwavidhyalaya/Rani Durgavati Vishwavidhyalaya/DCI/MCI/Institution/govt of M.P. and Management

A candidate selected for any MDS/MD/MS course speciality as merit will not be allowed to change the speciality

The selection made by the admission committee is final and will be binding on the candidates

Admission to the candidate will be given after the candidate deposits all his/her relevant original certificates, documents along with tuition and other fees to the concerned college

Vacancies arising due to any reason: The vacant seats shall be filled by the college based on merit from waiting list of Pre-PG-DMAT-2011

A candidate who is selected as per his/her merit but does not join the allotted course or cancel the admission after joining, will not be eligible for further selection. Fees paid shall not be returned back to the candidate

Admit card: Candidate will receive the admit card by UPC (under postal certificate), in case the candidates do not receive admit card by 15th April, 2011 then he/she should collect the admit card from the office of examination centre superintendent, Indore latest a day before the examination or he/she should download the copy of the admit card from the official website of Association, www.apdmcmp.com using the six digit application form number
