Applications are invited for admission into various courses of the Vidyapeetha during the academic year 2010-11
Prescribed application forms along with prospectus can be obtained from the Vidyapeetha in person on payment of Rs 100/- through demand draft and by post on payment of Rs 150/- by way of demand draft drawn in favour of the Registrar, RS Vidyapeetha from any nationalized bank payable at Tirupati or by downloading from the Vidyapeetha website http://rsvidyapeetha.ac.in
All the downloaded filled in applications should be submitted along with a demand draft for Rs 100/-
The last date to receive the filled in applications for Ph.D is 01.06.2010 and 07.06.2010 for all other courses
For Kashmiri migrants, the last date for receipt of filled in applications is 17.06.2010
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC etc will be made applicable for admission into Vidyapeetha courses as per the existing rules of govt of India

Under-graduate courses
Prak-Sastri (equal to +2/intermediate with computers as special subject); Sastri (equal to B.A. with computer applications); Sastri Vedabhashyam (equal to B.A.); B.Sc (Sastri) with computer science and mathematics; B.A (I elect Sanskrit compulsory)
Post graduate courses
Acharya (equal to M.A.) in 14 shastras i.e. Sahitya/Vyakarana/Jyotisha (Phalita, Sidhanta)/ Nyaya/ Advaita Vedanta/ Visishtadvaita Vedanta/ Dvaita Vedanta/ Vedabhashya/ Agama/ Sankhya Yoga/ Dharmasastra/ Puranetihasa/ Mimamsa
M.A. in Sanskrit (Sabdabodha systems and language technology)
M.Sc in Computer Science and Language Technology
P.G. Diploma in Yoga Therapy and stress management: This course has been introduced under the Innovative programme sanctioned by UGC
Duration: 1½ year (including 6 months internship); Eligibility: Any graduate with second class
Research programmes: M.Phil in 10 subjects i.e. Sahitya, Vyakarana, Jyotisha (Phalitha and Siddhanta), Nyaya, Advaita Vedanta, Visistadvaita Vedanta, Dvaita Vedanta, Agama, Manuscriptology and Paleography and Education
Vidyavaridhi (Doctor of Philosophy) regular/part time in all Sastras and in education
Vidyava Chaspati (D.Litt) in all Sastras and in Education
Evening and part-time programmes
PG Diploma in Yoga Vijnan (1 year); Natural Language Processing (2 years); Web Technology (1 year)
Diploma in Temple culture; Pourohitya; Sanskrit and Law; Management with Oriental orientation (1 year)
Certificate course in Temple Culture (1 year); Pourohitya (1 year); Function English (6 months); Jyotisha (6 months)
Career Oriented Programmes: The Vidyapeetha offers job-oriented add-on courses for Sastri/B.A./B.Sc students in DTP in Indian Languages, Web Technology, Puranetihasa, Vastu Sastra and E-Learning
Scholarships will be awarded to the eligible students studying full time traditional courses only as per rules.
Hostel facility with subsidy in mess bills is available. No hostel facility for evening and part-time course student
