Admission to Ph.D programme

Applications are invited for admission to Ph.D (part-time) programme in various disciplines of Engineering, Architecture, Management, Pharmacy, Life Sciences and Applied Sciences for academic session 2011-12

Details regarding eligibility criteria and selection procedure are described in Ph.D regulations, available at university website www.ptu.ac.in

Important deadlines

Last date of receipt of applications: 27th December, 2010 (Monday)

Date of written test: 15th January, 2011 (Saturday)

Written test result declaration and information regarding interview: up to 31st January, 2011

How to apply: The application is to be submitted online by filling up the application form available at university website

Application fee of Rs 1000/- is to be deposited in branches of designated banks (HDFC/SBOP) by taking print out of the online e-deposit slip

Duly signed, hardcopy of the printed form with self-attested copy of fee deposited slip must reach the Dean (Academics), PTU by 27th December, 2010

The envelope must be super-scribed as application for admission to Ph.D programme

All the related information will be updated at university website, time to time

No separate letters will be sent to any candidate

From next time, no separate advertisement will be given, regarding the date of entrance test for Ph.D programme

The online application will be received through out the year

The date of test will be notified through website of PTU and information will also be sent to the applicants through e-mail
