Admission notice for PG Diploma in Sports Medicine 2011-13

Applications on prescribed form are invited for admission to two year PG Diploma in sports medicine

Eligibility criteria: MBBS with completion of one year compulsory internship from any university recognized by medical council of India

Permanent medical registration with state medical council/medical council of India

Preference will be given to those candidates, who have achieved sports excellence and or have experience of working with sportspersons or have postgraduate qualification in Physiology/ Medicine/ Orthopaedics/Surgery

Prospectus containing detailed information can be obtained from the institute by paying Rs 500/- at the counter, or through regd post by sending bank draft of Rs 550/- drawn in favour Executive Director, Sports Authority of India, NSNIS, Patiala, payable at Patiala

Application form can also be downloaded from our website www.nsnis.org

If a candidate applies on downloaded application form, he must enclose a demand draft of Rs 500/- drawn in favour of Executive director, sports authority of India, NSNIS, Patiala, payable at Patiala

Stipend will be paid @ Rs 22,000/- per month to 1st year students and Rs 24,000/- per month to 2nd year students subject to eligibility

Employed/sponsored candidate will not be given stipend

Board/lodging will be provided on payment basis

The last date of receipt of application at SAI NSNIS, Patiala is 18th February, 2011

Admission process will start w.e.f.: 01st April, 2011
