Admission notice for Ph.D

Application are invited from students desirous of seeking admission in Doctoral programme (Ph.D) in regular mode in Pharmacy/Engineering/Physiotherapy/Management/Computer Science/Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/Biochemistry/Commerce for the academic year 2010-11 commencing from March 2011

Separate applications are required to be submitted for each subject

Eligibility: Master’s degree from a recognized university with at least 55% marks

Number of seats in each subject: 05 (five)

Information brochure and the application form can be obtained from the University by writing or submitted on the plain paper to the undersigned along with a bank draft of R 750/- (cost of prospectus to be given at the time of entrance test) drawn in favour of Manav Bharti University payable at Solan

Last date of submission of application is 21st February, 2011 (5.00 p.m.)

Entrance test for admission will be held on 28th February, 2011 at the university campus

Students who have qualified NET/SET/GATE/UGC/CSIR (JRF)/Teacher Fellowship or have passed M.Phil programme through entrance test are exempted from the entrance test

However they have to appear in personal interview as envisaged in the rules

Candidates employed in central/state govt/private organizations and selected for admission shall be required to provide leave sanction order

Applications received after the last date will not be entertained

The university shall not be responsible for the postal/courier delay
