Admissions open for the following Programmes for the year 2007-2008

1. General Nursing & Midwifery – 3 1/2 Years

2. Basic B.Sc. Nursing - 4 Years

 

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Eligibility:
1. Pass in PUC / PDC (10+2) with English as one of the subject and Physics, Chemistry & Biology as optional subjects.

2. Passed subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English (PCBE) taken together in the qualifying examination.

3. Candidates belonging SC, ST or other Backward classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English taken together in qualifying examination be not less than 40% instead of 50% as above.

4. Completes 17 yrs. of age at the time of admission.

 

Programme Duration:
4 years covering intensive theory classes and internship attending to wards for observation and supervised practice.

N.B.: All applications should accompany a D.D. for Rs 600/- in respect of GNM / B.Sc. / B.Sc. (Post Basic), and Rs. 1000/- in respect of M.Sc.(N), drawn in favour of M.S.R.I.N.E.R, A/C No. 236 Vijaya Bank, Bangalore.

GENERAL NURSING & MIDWIFERY

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Eligibility:

1. Pass in PUC/PDC (10 + 2) with Science subjects Physics, Chemistry & Biology.

2. For general category 45% and above of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination.

3. For SC/ST candidates 35% of the total marks in science subjects of the qualifying examination.

4. Minimum age 17 years., Maximum age 35 years.

* Admissions available for boys also.
* Hostel facilities available for girls only.

Programme Duration:
3 1/2 years covering intensive theory classes, attending towards for observation and supervised practice.
