Post-graduate diploma in administrative research and training (ART-in-governance)

About the institute: MGSIPAP is premier institute of the Punjab state govt for imparting training to all India service officers like IAS, IFS, IPS, State PCS and other officials

It undertakes research and provides consultancy to all state govt, deptts for their development

Programme offered: One year post graduation diploma to train young post-graduates in the field of administrative research and to develop them as trainers in governance related fields in general, behavioral and management skills in particular

The top five candidates will be nominated as research associates in the institute

The faculty: In addition to highly experienced and qualified faculty of the institute, reputed guest faculty will be invited to enlighten the candidates

Eligibility: M.A. in Public Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Geography, History of Political Sciences; knowledge of Punjabi must

Number of seat: 40

Last date for submitting application: 30th May, 2011

Admission process: A written test will be held in two papers; paragraph writing in English; Mental ability and general knowledge (each paper of 100 marks)

Written test in both the papers will be on 20th June, 2011 at 11.00 a.m.

One hundred candidates will be intimated for counseling and selection in the first week of July

Fee: Rs 18,000/- (can be paid in six installments)
