M.Tech and Ph.D (Engineering), Ph.D (Sciences), Ph.D (Humanities and Social Sciences), M.Tech, M.Des, M.Sc, M.Sc- Ph.D (Dual Degree)

Eligibility

Ph.D (Engineering):  M.Tech/M.E./M.Sc (Engg) degree in the respective or allied area

The candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Master’s degree in Sciences in an allied area with exceptional academic record and possessing a valid GATE score may also apply

For Ph.D in BSBE, candidates with MBBS, B.Pharma or M.Pharma degree may also apply

Candidates with Master’s degree in Management may apply for Ph.D in Industrial and Management Engineering (IME)

Ph.D (Sciences & HSS): M.Sc/M.A. degree in respective or allied area with a valid GATE/UGC/CSIR score

For Ph.D in Economics Mathematics at +2 level is required

M.Tech: B.Tech/B.E./B.Sc (Engg)/M.Sc in respective or allied area with a valid GATE/UGC/CSIR score

For M.Tech in Biological Sciences and Bio Engineering, candidates with MBBS or B.Pharma degree are also considered

Eligibility for a specialization within a Department may depend on the candidate’s choice of test paper in GATE

M.Des: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Design or Architecture with a valid GATE/CEED score

M.Sc/M.Sc-Ph.D (Dual Degree): should qualify JAM-2012
