Admission to 2 years full time M. Tech in VLSI Design Programme (2007 – 2008)
The M. Tech VLSI Design programme at C – DAC Mohali is an intensive skill based and practice oriented programme, which incorporates assignments, industry relevant projects, dissertation work etc and will be delivered through regular and expert guest faculty in the region with extended laboratory operations for 7 days a week to provide a stimulating and high end teaching learning experience. The Programme is approved by AICTE & Affiliated with PTU Jalandhar.
Qualifications: B.E. / B. Tech in electrical / electronics / computer / instrumentation or equivalent degree with 55% marks.

The Application Form, complete in all respects should be submitted along with a processing fee of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two hundred and fifty only) in the form of a Demand Draft in favour in Director C – DAC Mohali, either in person or by registered post / speed post / courier / messenger so as to reach C – DAC Mohali on or before 02.07.2007 (Monday) till 5.30 P.M. Scholarship: Scholarships to eligible GATE qualified candidates are subject to availability from AICTE.
Placement: Our M. Tech VLSI Design students are placed in very reputed companies like Nvidia Graphics, Samtel, Virage Logic, Mando Softech, HCL Technologies, Cadence Design Systems, with the highest package of Rs 6.7 lacs and in prominent Educational institutes like TIET Patiala, NIT Jalandhar, and NIT Hamirpur etc.
Note: Date and venue of counseling 03.07.07 (Tuesday), 9.00 A.M. C – DAC Mohali.
No separate letter for counseling will be issued. Candidates are required to bring their academic testimonials starting from Matric to B. Tech / B.E degree (all original along with attested photocopies) failing which the candidates shall not be entertained for Written Test & Counseling. If admission is confirmed, the concerned candidate is required to pay Rs. 7,500/- by cash / DD in favour of Director, C – DAC Mohali as a non – refundable deposit on the same day, which will be adjustable subsequently with the remaining fees payable within 7 days.
