M.B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed., B.P.E., B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed. & C.P.Ed. On Campus Programmes
Applications are invited for Admission to the following Programmes for the Academic Year 2007 – 2008
- M.B.A. – Master of Business Administration (Two Year)
Eligibility: Graduate in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in Part – III. Candidate who have (i) to be appeared for Entrance Test conducted by the Annamalai University on 02.06.2007 are only eligible, (ii) not appeared for the Entrance Test are advised not to apply.
- B.Ed. Bachelor of Education (One Year)
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed the Under Graduate Degree Examinations 10+2+3 stream with any one of the main subjects in Part – III – Tamil (B.A., B.Lit.) English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, Geography, and Computer Science, Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Physics, Environmental Science and Microbiology.
2. Post Graduate Candidates: M.A. [Economics], M. Com. & Home Science
- a. Candidates should have secured 45% of marks in U.G. degree and for P.G. degree, a minimum pass is required for admission.
b. For SC and ST communities and Handicapped (Both physical and visual candidates). A pass in relevant UG degree course is enough, irrespective of the number of attempts.
AGE LIMIT : No age limit
Selection Test: Selection test is compulsory for seeking admission to B.Ed. programme and to be conducted on 30.06.2007 F.N. at Annamalainagar only.
3. M.Ed. – Master of Education (One Year)
Eligibility: 50% in B.Ed Degree Examination or M.H.Ed Degree of this University or a degree examination in education of any other University recognized as equivalent thereto.
4. B.P.E. – Bachelor of Physical Education (Three Year)
Eligibility: A pass in H.Sc. [10+2 Scheme] or any other equivalent examination thereto.
AGE LIMIT: Should not have completed the age indicated below as on 1 st July 2007 . OC – 20 Years; BC – 22 Years; MBC and SC/ST – 25 Years.
5. B.P. Ed. – Bachelor of Physical Education (One Year)
Eligibility: A pass in any degree from a recognized University.
AGE LIMIT: Should not have completed the age indicated below as on 1 st July 2007 . OC – 27 Years; BC – 29 Years; MBC and SC/ST – 32 Years.
- M.P. Ed. Master of Physical Education (2 Year)
Eligibility: A pass in B.P.Ed. or B.P.E.S. or B.P.E. Examination from a recognised University.
AGE LIMIT: Should not have completed the age indicated below as on 1 st July 2007 . OC – 27 Years; BC – 29 Years; MBC and SC/ST – 32 Years.
- C.P.Ed. Certificate Programme in Physical Education (2 Year)
Eligibility: A pass in H.Sc. (10+2) level or any equivalent Examinations recognised by Annamalai University .
AGE LIMIT: Should not have completed the age indicated below as on 1 st July 2007 . OC – 20 Years; BC – 22 ears; MBC and SC/ST – 25 Years.

How to Apply: Application form and Prospectus can be obtained from THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR – 608 002 from the ate scheduled above on payment of prescribed fee noted above in Person OR by sending a Demand Draft obtained on or after 16-05-2007 drawn in favour of THE REGISTRAR, ANNAMALAI UNIVERSITY, ANNAMALAINAGAR from ANY BANK, payable at CHENNAI along with a self addressed stamped Thick Kraft envelope of size 30 cm x 24 cm (stamps affixed to the vale of Rs. 30/-) with the name of the Programme for which the application is required should be superscribed boldly on the envelope. The Name of the Programme should be clearly indicated in the requisition letter. The Name and Address of the Candidate and Programme or which Application is made should be clearly indicated on the back side of the Demand Draft also.
