PG Degree programmes (self-supporting)

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to the following post graduate degree programmes (self-supporting) offered at Anna University Tiruchirappalli (AU-T) for the academic year 2010-11

TANCET 2010 is mandatory for PG degree programmes (except M.Pharm programmes)

Regular (full time): MCA; MBA; M.Pharm Pharmaceutical Analysis*; M.Pharm Pharmaceutics*

Evening (part time): MCA; M.E. Thermal Engineering; M.E. Manufacturing Engineering; M.E. Power Systems Engineering; M.E. CAD/CAM; M.E Structural Engineering

Application can be downloaded from www.tau.edu.in/admission and the filled-in application should be submitted to the Director (admissions), Anna University Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli-620024, along with a payment of Rs 600/- for general category or Rs 300/- in case of SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamilnadu on production of a copy of permanent community certificate. The fees should be paid by a demand draft drawn in favour of the Director (admissions), Anna university Thiruchirappalli payable at Tiruchirappalli

Industrial Quota/Foreign Nationals/PIOs/Non-resident Indians (NRIs) and children of Indian workers in gulf countries (CIWGC)

Applications are invited in the prescribed format for admission to B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M. Pharma/MCA/ MBA degree programmes. The list of courses is available at www.tau.edu.in/courses. Application forms can be downloaded from the university website www.tau.edu.in/nri-adm and the filled-in applications should be submitted to the Director (admissions), Anna University Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli-620024, India

The filled in application form along with a registration fee of US $200 (applications for industrial quota shall be obtained in person only on payment of Rs 600/-) in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of the Director (admissions), Anna University Tiruchirappalli payable at Tiruchirappalli, India should reach the above mentioned address on or before 14.06.2010

Ph.D/M.S. (by research) programmes

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to Ph.D/M.S (by research) degree programmes under various faculty. Application can be downloaded from the University website www.tau.edu.in/admission. The filled-in applications should be submitted to the Director (admissions), Anna University Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli-620024 along with a payment of Rs 600/- for general category or Rs 300/- in case of Tamilnadu SC/SCA/ST candidates on production of a copy of community certificate. The fees should be paid in the form of demand draft drawn in favour of the director (admissions), Anna University Tiruchirappalli, Tiruchirappalli-620024

For MBA (full time)/MCA (full time/part time)/M.E. (part time): The TANCET 2010 registration number is mandatory in the duly filled-in application form and the TANCET 2010 score has to be submitted separately to the Director (admissions), AU-T, within a week after the declaration of TANCET results

Selection of candidates is through a ranking based on the TANCET score

For MBA admissions: Group discussion and personal interview will be conducted by Anna University Tiruchirappalli in addition to TANCET 2010

For M.Pharm: Admissions to both the M.Pharm programmes will be made through a separate entrance examination and counseling conducted by Anna University Tiruchirappalli

Candidates with GPAT score will be exempted from appearing for the entrance examination (only) conducted by AU-T. Applications may be downloaded from 15.04.2010
