The Government has decided to make admissions to B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. and MBA programmes on the basis of the national level entrance tests for the session 2006-07, to prevent the candidates from the stress of multi tests and avoidable financial burden on the parents. It has been decided not to conduct the separate State Entrance Test (CEET) for admissions to all the 13105 seats of B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch. courses offered by the Govt./Govt.aided/University Departments/self financing institutions located in the State of Haryana (40 Nos.). All the seats will be filled on the basis of the merit of the test of AIEEE scheduled to be conducted by C.B.S.E. on 30-04-2006. So all the aspiring candidates are advised to apply and appear in AIEEE-2006. The last date for filling the AIEEE form online is 10-01-2006 and by post, it should reach to the Joint Secretary, (AIEEE Unit), Central Board of School Education, 17, Rouse Avenue, Institutional Area (near Bal Bhawan), New Delhi-110002 by 14-01-2006.

Similarly all the 1907 seats of MBA programme shall be filled on the basis of the merit of the MAT Test conducted by AIMA. The four Mat Scores preceding the counseling shall be considered as valid scores and in case a student has appeared multiple times, the highest score will be taken for the purpose of merit. The State of Haryana will not conduct the separate State Entrance Test (CETMBA) for making admissions to MBA. The counseling for Engg. and MBA shall be done by the State. However, admissions in other Technical Education programmes such as MCA, B.Pharmacy, Hotel Management & Polytechnics shall be made on the basis of State Entrance tests as per previous practice, which shall be announced in due course of time.
