COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (CET – 2006)
Punjab University Common Entrance Test PUCET 2006 on 20th May , 2006
The University will hold a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the following courses on 20.5.2006 (Saturday) for the academic session 2006-07 at Chandigarh:
1. M.B.B.S. at GOVT. MEDICAL COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH (Only for candidates studying / having studied in 10 + 1 and 10 + 2 as regular students in the Schools/Colleges recognised by the Chandigarh Administration and situated in the U.T. Chandigarh.)
2. B.D.S. at DR. HARVANSH SINGH JUDGE INSTITUTE OF DENTAL SCIENCES, P.U. CHANDIGARH (Subject to approval of the Govt.)
3. B.A.M.S. at SHRI DHANWANTRY AYURVEDIC COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH (Subject to continuation of affiliation)
4. B.H.M.S. at HOMEOPATHIC MEDICAL COLLEGE, CHANDIGARH
5. B.PHARMA at UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES, P.U., CHANDIGARH.
6. B.A LL.B. (Hons.) Five Year Integrated course: at UNIVERSITY INSTITUTE OF LEGAL STUDIES, P.U., CHANDIGARH & PANJAB UNIVERSITY REGIONAL CENTRE, LUDHIANA And
7. B.Sc. (Hons. School) in Anthropology, Bio-Chemistry, Bio-Physics, Bio-technology, Botany, Computer Science, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematics & Computing, Microbiology, Physics, and Zoology in the TEACHING DEPARTMENTS at the University Campus.
For detailed information regarding Qualification/Eligibility condition(s)/Reservation of seats/date-sheet/Rules/Regulations/Instructions/Combination of subject/Syllabus etc. for admission to the above mentioned courses (1-7), the candidates are advised to consult the Prospectus for CET- 2006.
Centre for the CET – 2006: Chandigarh only
Availability of Prospectus/Application Form & Broucher for admission: The Prospectus (including Application Form for the Test and the admission Brochure) will be available for sale w.e.f. 20.3.2006 (Monday) by hand as well as by post.
A) BY HAND: On payment of Rs.1300/- (Rs.650/- in case of SC/ST), in cash, from any one of the following Branches of State Bank of India. Main Branch. Hall Bazar, Near Municipal Corporation Office, Amritsar; Panjab University, Sector – 14, Chandigarh; Delhi University Branch, Delhi; Main Branch, Civil Courts, Hoshiarpur; Main Branch, Civil Lines, Ludhiana; Main Branch, Old Abohar Road, Muktsar; Main Branch Kurukshetra; Main Branch, Sangrur.
B) BY REGISTERED POST: On payment of Rs.75/- (through Bank Draft only) in addition to the fee as stated at (A) above, drawn in favour of the REGISTRAR, PANJAB UNIVERSITY, CHANDIGARH Payable at Chandigarh. The request for the prescribed form be sent to the Manager, Publication Bureau, P.U., Chandigarh so as to reach him latest by 04.04.2006 (Tuesday).
Last date for receipt of completed Application Form (both by hand/post) at the CET Cell (old enquiry), Administrative Block, Panjab University, Chandigarh is 19.4.2006 (Wednesday) up to 5.00 p.m.
