Admission Notice MBA (BT) 2006-2007
MBA Biotechnology is one of the newest disciplines in Management encompassing Management & Biotechnology. University of Pune (PUMBA) has started this pioneering program from the academic year 2002-2003 (Intake Capacity 60). Pumba also conducts Two Year Full Time MBA program, since 1971.
Eligibility: Candidates should have any Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science (Special / General with Biotechnology, Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Microbiology, Zoology, Bio-chemistry, Physics etc.). Agriculture, Medical science, Pharmacy, Ayurved, Veterinary science, Technology, Engineering of Recognized University by the AIU.
Reservations: 50% seats are reserved for SC, ST, VJ/DT, NT & OBC category students as per Government of Maharashtra rules. 3% (02) seats are reserved for Physically Handicapped students as per Government of India rules. One seat is reserved for J & K student.
Selection Process: Candidates seeking admission for this program should appear for ATMA written test being conducted on February 12, 2006. For obtaining application form contact ATMA’s office at AIMS, Plot No.13, Lalitha Nagar, West Marredpally, Secundarabad 500 026. Further these candidates should register themselves separately for GD / PI test to be conducted by the DMS (PUMBA) whose details are available in the Department’s Prospectus. The prospectus can be obtained from the office from December 1, 2005 on all working days between 11.00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on payment of Rs. 250/- (for open category) & Rs. 150/- (for reserved category). The prospectus can also be obtained by post by paying through DD drawn in favour of “The Registrar, University of Pune”, payable at Pune of Rs.325 /- (for open category) & Rs. 225/- (for reserved category).
