MANAGEMENT ENTRANCE TEST (MET)-2006 &
M ASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATION ENTRANCE TEST (PRE-MCA)-2006

Professional Examination Board, M.P., Bhopal (PEB) will conduct entrance tests for admission to AICTE approved MCA/MBA courses in the state of Madhya Pradesh of the academic session beginning on 1 st July 2006.

• Date of Examination : 18 June, 2006 (Sunday)

PRE-MCA (Forenoon session-10:00 AM TO 12:15 PM)

MET (Afternoon session-2:00 PM to 5:00 PM)

• Test Cities : Bhopal , Gwalior , Indore , Jabalpur , Rewa,

Sagar, Ujjain , Raipur , New Delhi , Lucknow .

• Eligibility :

For Pre-MCA : The Bachelor’s degree must be of minimum three years duration in any discipline with Mathematics as compulsory or an additional subject at either Higher Secondary (10+2) or at graduation level. For MET : Graduate (minimum three years duration) or Postgraduate with 50% at least marks (for Unreserved category) and 40% marks (for SC/ST/OBC category) in aggregate.

Note : Candidates in the final year of any degree examination can also appear in the Pre-MCA-2006/MET-2006 on provisional basis. Such candidates will have to produce the certificate of having passed the degree examination at the time of admission.

• availability of Application Forms : Application form and Rule Book can be obtained on cash payment of Rs. 750/- for Pre-MCA and Rs. 1100/- for ‘MET (Which includes test fee also) from (a) cas counter of Professional Examination Board, Bhopal. (b) The identified branches of (i) Canara Bank – New Delhi , Janpath Br. P.B. No. 495, Janpath. Lucknow - 565, K-100, Amrodibagh, near Alambagh, Kanpur Road . (ii) OBC Bank- Raipur - Pandit J.N.M. Medical Colege.
• By Post : From PEB Office only by submitting a request letter accompanied by an A/C payee Bank Draft/Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 800/- for Pre-MCA and Rs. 1150/- for MET drawn in favour of Professional Examination Board, Bhopal drawn on any nationalized bank payable at Bhopal. The application form shall be sent to the candidates by registered ost or speed post. Such request letter should reach PEB office on or before 12.5.2006.
• Candidates who desires to appear in both the entrance tests namely MET and Pre-MCA can buy the Application form of both tests (i.e. for MET+Pre-MCA) at a concessional rate of Rs. 1500/- up to 23.5.2006 or can send a request letter for obtaining the same by post enclosing an A/c payee Bank Draft/Banker’s Cheque of Rs. 1600/-. Such request letter should r each PEB Office on or before 12.5.2006.
• Application form duly completed must be sent by post or submitted in person at PEB office, Bhopal so as to reach PEB on or before 23.5.2006
• No application/request for issue of TAC or ATAC will be considered by PEB O\office after 5:00 PM on 17.6.2006.
