Important Dates:
1. Last Date for receiving completed Application Form by the Institute: June 20,2006.
2. Date of Written Test: July 16, 2006 .
3. Date of Group Discussion / Personal Interview: July 23 to 26, 2006 .
4. Last Date for producing final year graduation result in case of applicant is
appearing for it in 2006 - date of GD / PI.
Admissions for the Session 2006-2007:
Eligibility for Admission:
The minimum qualification for admission to the MBA programme shall be graduation from a recognised institution. (Degree Course of at least three years or more duration) from any stream. Students appearing in the final year examination of the undergraduate class shall also be permitted to apply, subject to the condition that they furnish their final graduation pass result not later than the date of Group Leadership / Personal Interview.
Admission shall be made without any distinction of caste, creed, colour, gender, age, and so on. There shall be no provision for outright admission to anyone and reservation shall be as per rules applicable to the University.

Weightage for University Employee Wards:
The merit of the University employee wards shall be determined after adding a weightage of 15% on the sum total of marks scored by them in the written and oral tests. The term University employee ward shall mean the son, daughter, husband and wife of a person who is in the direct permanent employment of the University.
Admission Procedure:
The admission shall be made on the basis of written tests and oral tests comprising of a Group leadership Test and Personal Interview. English language shall be the medium for all the tests.
Written Tests (400 Marks):
The written tests shall judge applicants for proficiency in written communication, intelligence, propensity to observe facts and use them, propensity to grasp and use quantitative and scientific tools, general awareness, logical thinking, reasoning power, aptitude for management learning and practice, and maturity in terms of personality development. There shall be four tests as follows:
i. Communication Ability 100 Marks
ii. Aptitude and Reasoning 100 Marks
iii. General Awareness 100 Marks
iv. Quantitative Aptitude 100 Marks
Oral Tests (100 Marks): The oral tests shall comprise of the following:
Group Leadership (50 Marks):
The testing shall be done by grouping the applicants in viable groups and conducting discussion on chosen themes to test the applicant's leadership ability, group behaviour, and adjustment with group dynamics
Personal Interview : 50 Marks
Final List of Selected Candidates:
The final list of selected candidates shall be drawn on the basis of the overall performance of the candidates in the written and oral tests in their respective categories.
Final result shall be declared through official websites of the University and MONIRBA and placed on the notice board of MONIRBA.
Test Centres:
The written tests shall be held at Allahabad , Delhi , Kolkata, Hyderabad , Dehradun, Jabalpur , Chandigarh , and Jaipur The candidate shall have the option to appear from any one of the specified centres. In case the number of applicants opting for a centre is less than 25, the Department shall have right to cancel that centre and direct the candidates to appear from any other centre in order of preference registered by the candidate in application form or as decided by the Department. The oral tests (Group Leadership/ Personal Interview) for all the applicants shall be conducted only at Allahabad . The candidates shall have to make their own arrangements for travel and stay for appearing in the written and oral tests and shall not be entitled to any TA/DA.

Completed application form is to be submitted to the Institute either personally or by Speed-Post only to the Coordinator (MBA Admissions), Motilal Nehru Institute of Research and Business Administration, Chatham Lines Campus, University of Allahabad , Allahabad-211002 along with a crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/- only drawn in favour of the " Head, Motilal Nehru Institute of Research and Business Administration ", payable at Allahabad . The last date for submitting / receiving completed application form in the Institute is June 20, 2006 .
